I'm an NYC and DC based Cinematographer and Gaffer with experience across commercial, branded, documentary, and narrative productions. With a strong foundation in camera, lighting, and on-set collaboration, I help bring creative ideas to life through thoughtful visual storytelling and technical execution. My background in production gives me a practical understanding of how projects move from concept to delivery, allowing me to work effectively with producers, directors, and crews while anticipating challenges before they arise. Whether shaping the look of a branded campaign, lighting an interview, or supporting a fast-paced production, I focus on creating compelling images while helping productions run smoothly and efficiently.

My work is guided by a clear, four-stage creative process that transforms ideas into compelling visuals through thoughtful planning, technical expertise, and collaborative execution.

Work With Me

  • Every project begins with understanding the story, audience, and creative vision. I collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams to establish the visual approach, identify key objectives, and determine the technical requirements needed to bring the concept to life.

    At this stage, I focus on translating ideas into a clear visual direction which includes building storyboards and shot lists as well as determining the right camera movement.

  • With the visual approach established, I develop the camera and lighting strategy needed to support the project. This includes evaluating locations, selecting gear, building light plots, and coordinating with production teams to ensure every element is in place before cameras roll.

    Careful preparation helps create a smooth production day and allows the creative team to focus on performance, storytelling, and execution.

  • Production is where planning meets reality. Whether operating camera, leading the G&E team, or supporting the creative vision on set, I focus on capturing strong visuals while adapting to changing conditions, schedules, and production needs.

    I work closely with directors, producers, and crew members to solve challenges in real time and maintain momentum throughout the shoot.

  • In post-production, I manage workflows, reviews, and approvals from start to finish. I oversee editing, color grading, and delivery to ensure projects are completed smoothly and on time.

    My focus is on delivering content that fulfills creative intent while meeting business and engagement needs.
