“Cognition Solstice” is a poetry short film combining videos and still photography from a variety of locations including Yemen, Redwoods, and The Faroe Islands. The film incorporates various recordings including conversations, rhythmic sounds of breath, hands rubbing, and voiceover with text. The actual poem “Cognition Solstice” recalls a dream of meeting yourself as a child on a beach after walking thru an abandoned seaside town.
