Americom Optics

Agency

Helen & Gertrude is a data-informed creative and media agency focused on human-centered brand strategy and content.

Client

Americom Optics AmeriCOM (American Center for Optics Manufacturing) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing precision optics manufacturing and workforce development in the United States.

Scope

Multi-camera employee testimonial production, shot on location in upstate NJ, requiring coordinated transportation of crew and a full 1-ton G&E package, precise route planning, and efficient on-site setup and breakdown.

My Process

Working closely with the agency and production team, I supported the project by organizing the G&E gear rental, assembling a 1-ton lighting package, and securing a qualified driver for equipment transport. Ahead of the shoot, I studied the two-hour route from NYC to the filming location, verified tunnel and bridge height clearances, and planned load-in and load-out logistics to ensure safe and efficient transport. I coordinated equipment pickup and return, managed on-set lighting execution, and structured the setup and breakdown process to maximize shooting time. Through detailed preparation and proactive problem-solving, I helped ensure the production remained on schedule and fully supported creative and technical needs on location.

Outcome

Delivered a smooth, well-coordinated production with efficient transport, fast setup and breakdown, and reliable on-set support—contributing to a streamlined shoot and high-quality branded testimonial content for the client.
